The objective

A smart grid company requested power-line communications and signal-analysis capabilities for a unique, feeder/phase-disambiguation solution.

The work

Elintrix designed, implemented, deployed and field-tested algorithmic solutions for combating the effects of a dynamic, hostile channel on power line communications and for probing channel characteristics to provide a means of feeder-phase disambiguation, without the need for prior knowledge of the grid architecture.

The outcome

The integrated, algorithmic solutions provided by Elintrix constitute the critical, physics-based core of an innovative, feeder/phase disambiguation-system that is currently being marketed in the smart grid arena by large corporations in the energy space.
